A veteran of multiple successful cyber security startups which focused on cutting edge cyber security solutions for protecting critical and confidential information in corporate and Federal networks, Spencer was recently Founder and Chairman of Mobile Active Defense Inc., a mobile device security company. Mobile Active Defense became a thought leader in mobile security, winning “ Mobile Innovator of the Year” 3 years in a row from Secure Computing Magazine and many other industry accolades as it secured mobile ecosystems of companies around the world before being acquired in 2016 by Cyber adAPT Inc., a leading cyber threat detection company. Spencer now leads strategy and business development with Cytellix, the cyber security division of IMRI. The company secures over 7M devices with customers such as U.S. Army, Missile Command, DISA and DHS. Cytellix is now focused on helping small and medium businesses implement cyber security readiness programs to reduce their cyber security risks. Spencer resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and three children and is a proud alumni of the University of Georgia.
